Do you Need A Heat Pump?

When thinking about a heat pump you may assume that it’s only needed during winter. However, heat pump systems will not only provide heat during the winter, but they can cool during the summer months too – ensuring throughout the year your premises provide a comfortable environment. Various appliances are available and with more people becoming eco-friendly and concerned about their carbon footprints, the installation of a heat pump is becoming more popular, and for good reason.

WHAT IS A HEAT PUMP?

The main principal of a heat pump is that it takes the heat from the ground and air and circulates this evenly around the building in which it’s installed. With heat pumps, there are two main systems, which both have the end result of providing your premises with an adequate heat source.

The first system is air to water, which provides heat via your central heating system; whilst the second is air-to-air, which provides heat through the use of fans to distribute warmed air.

WHY BUY A HEAT PUMP?

For the last 25 years, RJS Cooling have been supplying domestic, commercial and industrial clients with a range of heating and air conditioning systems; and throughout our experience within this field, we’ve found that for those concerned about their carbon footprints a heat pump system is a perfect appliance to install.

Along with being eco-friendly and helping to reduce your carbon footprint, a correctly installed heat pump system can be a cost effective solution to providing your premises with heat – and it has the added benefit of not requiring a fuel source to work. It is sensible to plan ahead for the winter months by considering a heat pump system. If you’d like more information surrounding any of our services, please contact us.
